Our Story
Our Pão de Queijo recipe was passed down from our grandmother, Nina or Donna Nina, as she was known in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Donna means “Mrs” in Portuguese, and Nina was the heart of the kitchen.
Pão de Queijo has always been a staple where we come from, not just as a snack, but something that brings people together. It’s baked into our routine, whether it’s early in the morning, mid-afternoon, or anytime someone makes a fresh pot of coffee. What started in Minas became one of Brazil’s most beloved foods, and we’re proud to keep that tradition going here in New Zealand, one batch at a time.
